NicheNish #2
Hey,
Two months in. This is the updated log.
Issue #1 went out on July 23. I had no idea if anyone would care about a newsletter that documents other newsletters, but some of you might, so here we are.
Here's what happened across the properties since then.
As you can see, I also bought the domain nichenish.com and pointed it to beehiiv. Nice to put some branding on this.
Subscribe NicheNish, if you are interested in newsletters, hobby projects or want to ride along with me.

WP More
WP More (wpmore.net) crossed 1,000 Substack subscribers with Issue 58 this week. Issue #1 said 316. The count went 316 → 385 → 453 → 518 → 541 → 663 → 734 → 780 → 878 → 979 → 1,024, one number per issue from Issue 48 to Issue 58. The biggest single jump was Issue 56, from 780 to 878.
I am keeping the email sending intentionally on Substack right now. Substack recommendation is doing great work for WP More. I am also utilising the wpmore.net WordPress site; it’s constantly pulling 80-100 visitors per issue, so there is another channel.
Since July, I started publishing two YouTube Shorts with each issue, cross-posted to Facebook, Instagram, and Threads through Meta Business Suite. I also created an All Things WordPress publication on Medium, which has 18 followers so far.
I've met the 500-subscriber goal for 2026, so I need a new target.
How about 5,000 subscribers in the next 90 days?!

Weekly NishIsHere
NishIsHere (nishishere.com) Issues 103 through 108 are out. Substack is at 1,910 subscribers as of Issue 108.
The main project has been the positioning of the intro and landing page, so "curated finds for curious minds" says something clearer to a new reader. The content itself hasn't changed.
NishNama Digest, the Bangla translation at nishnama.com, now also goes out as an audio and video podcast on YouTube (@NishatShahriyar) and Spotify. The email list at nishnama.substack.com has 11,000+ subscribers.

HighDegree* Marketing
HighDegree* Marketing (serplabseo.com/subscribe-highdegree/) Issues 29 through 37 are out. Recent topics included AI search, Claude workflows, Google crawl limits, Google ranking factors, AI agents, LinkedIn SEO, entity SEO, and affiliate SEO. I started adding YouTube Shorts with Issue 29.
The LinkedIn newsletter has 658 subscribers, Substack has 91, and Medium has 137 followers. LinkedIn is the bigger list here. For WP More, Substack is.
My goal with this newsletter is to target the WordPress marketers and saas founder audience category more. As a marketer, I think I can do a lot in this area.
I am going to ramp up my personal social profiles for this. Stay tuned!

Other things I'm tracking
nishat.blog runs on Astro. Weekly Reads and What I've Been Watching are the two blog series there, both built from what I'm actually reading and watching. I am planning on writing more freely there, showing more of my personal side.
Curious Nish (nishcurious.wordpress.com) is at Week 38. It's a private, friends-only blog that I publish through a Telegram bot. This is a fun project; I don’t think much of it.

What I'm doing at WPManageNinja
Fluent Forms. We are very close to 800K active installations, and we just released 6.2.15, which brings Apple Pay and Google Pay to Stripe payment forms, browser autofill for form fields, an Export button on the Entries page, one-click duplication of integration feeds, and an optional setting that helps AI-powered browsers understand your forms, plus key fixes and security improvements.
FluentPlayer. The 1.3.0 and 1.4.0 releases shipped. We are going to push the LTD this BFCM hard.
Ninja Tables. The main focus is the website redesign; there are lots of improvements that can be made. I believe this will push the plugin’s organic growth. On the development side, we are regularly shipping improvements.
Then I went to Nepal last week. I attended WordCamp Kathmandu 2026 on September 18 and 19, \and traveled with family. The Kathmandu WordPress community is on another level. It is one of my best WordCamp experiences, 2nd WordCamp Malaysia 2025.
That's Issue #2.
Every month I'll come back here with updates from each property. Numbers, changes, experiments, decisions. What I'm thinking about, what I'm trying next.
If you run newsletters yourself, or you're thinking about starting something, I'm curious what questions you have after reading this. Hit reply.
Until next week,
— Nishat Shahriyar
